Qigong , Tai chi and Internal arts retreat August 24th-26th 2007
Location : Ceridwen Centre,Drefelin, West Wales
Programme of events
Friday 24th August; 6-8pm - Warm up and stretching followed by Qigong: Connecting with Heaven and Earth. 8-9pm short talk followed by quiet meditation session.
Saturday 25th August; Start at 10am, Warm up and stretching followed by Dragon Qigong. 11-12am Tai Chi Chuan. Tea break. 12.30-2pm pushing hands and posture applications. Lunch break. 3pm-4pm lying down Qigong. 4pm-5pm Tai chi chuan or weapons practise. Tea break. 5.30-7pm Talk and quiet meditation.
Sunday 26th August; Start at 10am, warm up and stretching followed by Bagua (weather depending). 11-12am Tai chi chuan. Tea break. 12.30-2pm pushing hands and posture applications. Lunch break. 3-4pm lying down Qigong. 4-5pm Tai chi chuan or weapons practise. Tea break. Closing talk on developing awareness and quiet meditation.
The cost for the weekends tuition is £85. For individual days please ring for cost and to check that there is space available. Lunch is £5 per person. Camping available on site. Booking is essential.
This retreat will be run by Michael Henley, who has trained in Qigong (chi kung), Buddhist and Taoist meditation and Chinese internal martial arts since 1986. He is the founder of the Nanpai Tai chi, Qigong & Kung Fu Association and is a registered instructor with the Buqi Institute, the Tai chi Union of Great Britain and the A.M.A.
